Skytrax 3i is Guardian’s new Iridium portable system for use inside the cockpit. Skytrax 3i includes a separate compact GPS antenna and a compact Iridium radio antenna which connect to the electronics enclosure and can be placed anywhere within 2 meters of the enclosure with a clear view of the sky. Skytrax 3i Features
- Compact, Lightweight and Aircraft Ready. The electronics hub is powered by any 12V to 28V power input. The enclosure is FAR 25.853 compliant, small in size, easy to carry or easy to permanently install.
- Transmits GPS Position, Altitude, Speed, Heading, HDOP.In addition to accurate longitude and latitude, speed, heading and altitude information is also provided.
- Store and Forward. Save costs by bundling multiple stored GPS positions into one transmission (e.g. send 3 GPS points every 6 minutes).
- AFF Compliant. Skytrax 3i and 3xi are compliant with USDA Automated Flight Following specifications.
- Custom Message Forwarding. Elect to send select transmissions to cell phones via SMS or to email addresses (e.g. notify via cell phone aircraft landings).
- Superb Web-based Mapping and Reporting Interface. Features include multilayer maps (with live weather in the USA), Internet anywhere access, geo-fencing, multi-aircraft tracking, trip views, reports and easy to use interface.
