Guardian releases Guardian Mapping upgraded features

For all of you who subscribe to Guardian Mapping, Enhanced or Premium Editions, we have a treat for you!  We recently released a mapping upgrade which gives current customers more features on their maps automatically. Please find the press release here.

Upgrades to Guardian Mapping, Enhanced and Premium Editions include:

  • Updated nomenclature, with vehicles referenced as aircraft
  • Airport icons when zoomed in
  • User defined event configuration: it is now possible to configure event labels, event severity, and notification preferences
  • Data exchange optimization which will reduce bandwidth needs by 90%
  • Event based trip processing where the user can select desired trip start and end tags

Upgrades to Guardian Mapping, Premium Edition only include:

  • Aviation weather including TAFs and METARs worldwide

The following feature appears for customers who have DZM devices, or any other Guardian devices that support multi-point payloads:

  • Breadcrumbs: Guardian will map points in sequence without inferring any times or order
