The DZMx is installed in the communications panel of the aircraft and has externally mounted Iridium/GPS and cellular antennas.

A remote head extends full functionality to the cabin, so aircrew can use it simultaneously with the pilots.
The antennae are installed on the exterior of the aircraft. The satellite/GPS antenna has an unobstructed view of the sky and the cellular antenna is mounted to the underside of the aircraft.
